Interview
It was more of a zoom call late at night set up by the manager , after he told me he’d call me me to set up a meeting for the next day(initial call @ 3:56 pm I called back @4:03pm 8/10/2022) He said other people were coming for an interview and would call me later that night. Heard nothing and decided to call around 7:35pm on August 10 of 2022. Said he was “just thinking about me” and needed to go get a bite to eat first. Awhile later he messaged asking if I could do a zoom call 8:07pm. Okay no problem. We talked about my previous employment history and what I had done in the kitchen industry. The “interview” I thought went well when he offered to have me come out and stage in the following weeks. Did not hear anything back, not even an email or text about whether or not it was going forward. I decided to call him on the 23rd of August only to be sent to voicemail and then be ghosted. If you just don’t have room for cooks, or are not interested in employing a person, it would be courteous to let them know instead of leaving them in the dark. Equal employment ? Yea right.
