I solved the question.
He was impressed. But at the end, he asked: "what's the time complexity of the solution provided by you?"
I told: O(N^2)
He asked me to explain. 
I explained. But He is not interested this time. Maybe it's O(N^2) or explanation is wrong.

The key in these questions is to cover the fundamentals, and be ready for the back-and-forth with the interviewer.
