First time poster

I recently got an offer from another Big 4, similar title and comp. The new role aligns better with my l-t goal. Currently very long hours & ddls, and limited learning opportunities, though the team itself is great. Downside, I’m on H-1B and would need to restart the PERM/GC process, including costs out of pocket. Also struggling with leaving behind the network/reputation. Curious if it is better to stay where I am or make a move only for l-t career goal. Thanks!

    If you are close to wrapping up the PERM/GC process you’d be crazy to change jobs. However, flip a coin, seems to be about what you did with pursuing an offer without considering the overall impacts and what you’d do if you actually got an offer.

    OP, if you have approved i140 more than 180 days, ypu dont need to redo everything all over again. The new employers just need to sign form i485j for you

Hi all. I am employed by a firm and I also have my own side practice. I represent clients in my practice. I’ve noticed that the notices for my personal clients are going to my employers office. How do I fix this? Should I get a seperate CAF or update the address on my CAF? Would that cause problems with notices for my employers client notices? At my employer, I am usually last on the POA and the first person on the POA (it is never me) checks off that notices will be sent to them

If someone is set up to e-file their resident state return and is taking a credit for taxes paid to other states from two nonresident state filings, is it best practice to attach the other two returns to avoid a notice? Or is it unnecessary to do so? Instructions for the state do not specify.
