I am curious if anyone has ever successfully challenged a low pay grade. I feel like my role has evolved way beyond my current internal level. What evidence did you bring to the table to get a grade increase?
I am thinking about asking for a performance review six months early. I have taken on two extra projects and I feel I am underpaid for my output. Is it too pushy to ask for more money before the annual cycle?
Would you rather? Work fully remote for £10k less....or.... commute three days a week for £10k more. I keep trying to calculate the true value of flexibility and I still cannot decide.
I am feeling very burnt out but I cant afford to quit because of my mortgage. I feel like my salary has become a cage that I cannot escape. Anyone else feel trapped by life?
I am seeing a lot of job ads in the UK that do not list the salary range at all. It feels like a total waste of my time to apply without knowing the pay. Tempted to start boycotting applications that hide the salary. Thoughts?
