I've spent the last 2 years working at a smaller but well-respected healthcare/life sciences consulting firm. I've realized that A) I don't like the work of a consultant, and B) work-life balance is too important for me to continue being this miserable. 2 years of experience isn't much, but looking for advice regarding any type of roles that might see me as a good applicant? I've just hit over the 6 figure mark and am willing to take a bit of a salary cut (but not much ideally). TYIA

Following cause in the same boat but with 3.5 YOE. I like the work just not the client deadlines or pressure. I’d love to go client side but don’t want move to middle of NJ but would do so if it was all I could get.

At that experience level, totally feasible to switch to client side. Lots of opportunities! I’m not sure what you focused on in consulting, but there are many roles excited to have you on client side. Reach out to folks you met, join industry groups, ask friends who moved on. You can totally do it. My story is came from LS, went to consulting, returned to LS at a higher level, but totally early track pivoting from consulting roles available. Look for friends for recs.
