Have a second interview Thursday. Definitely not my first rodeo but the longer I go unemployed, the less confident I feel. That being said this company is specifically going to use the STAR interviewing Style. I've done my research on the history of the company, etc but I am finding it so difficult to memorize my answers in the STAR format, I'm going to have to use my notes. Tell me I'm not the only one struggling w/this 🙏🏻
Just read an article from Fortune about people feeling too burnt out to apply for jobs. Is that you? I get it. This paragraph really summed it up for me: "Compounding the immobility: job seekers are being ghosted at a three-year high, with more than half of applicants reporting no response from employers in the past year. Show knowledge of and show passion for their menu items - to show enthusiasm and character. e.g., Their chicken tenders are fire. Good luck!
For a job like that just show that you've got a positive attitude and you can be personable. It also helps if you can indicate that you're organized and you don't get easily flustered. And it's important to show up as someone who is enthusiastic and reliable and willing to learn the job. Good luck!
