3rd-year ID associate in South Florida. $140k salary, 2160 billable requirement, but 2400 encouraged. I mostly WFH, which helps, but litigation stress feels unsustainable with a 9-month-old baby. I can't stay home for financial reasons and I carry the family health insurance. Looking for advice on remote/ possibly non-litigation roles I may be qualified for without taking a major pay cut. I have very limited experience in anything but ID (clerk at family law firm, dependency). Any hope/input?

Maybe transition to working for a carrier in a non-litigation role. Or seeing if you could work for an entity that funds litigation.
Yes working as claims and coverage counsel is a good option! I WFH at a firm and generally enjoy it. Feel free to dm me for info
