Age 28, I have decided to move back home near a new job to save money. I am sick of spending $2,300 on rent every month for a 1 bedroom apartment in DC area. I am committing myself to 1 year living with family, and saving every penny I can and putting it towards a house down payment. Will be tough living with family in the home I grew up in, and I don't have the freedom and independence of living alone, but I decided in 10 years, I will likely be glad I did.
