Success story of Chitra Moripalli
Sanil Kumar D is a chief architect at #HuaweiTechnologiesIndia, and heads the open source project at #SODAFoundation. His is an inspiring journey from a college graduate to developing technology for the open source community, as well as contributing to Huawei’s Cloud business. Cloudification is the foundation of 5G network and an irreversible trend for telecom networks. With the evolution from 4G to 5G, virtual machines (VMs) and containers will co-exist in the 5G network. We recently welcomed 57 Campus joiners in two batches from leading colleges across India. The Induction Program: Prarambh 2020 was special as it was the first-ever to be remotely conducted and virtual on-boarding of the new joiners was done uniquely while being comfortable in their homes. Prarambh 2020 Induction program at our R&D Center, spread over 10 days provides a wonderful experience for the new campus joinees with a lot of activities to break the ice between & Introducing them to Huawei?s culture with learning interventions such as NEO program, Campus to Corporate, Quality Workshop, Hackathon, Experts Cafe, and Mentors & HRBP Chai Pe Charcha sessions covering Huawei Overview, Core Values, Executive Talk, HR Policies, Business Conduct Guidelines, Becoming a High Performer, Meeting with CEO & Business Leaders, and India Silicon Valley Experts

We had organized multiple trainings LIVE considering Skill Enhancement and Career Development will keep the employees motivated during lockdown. Experts from Huawei Consumer Software have invested their precious time in Training & making the event success. Members have utilized this opportunity of learning and never stepped back from participating the session, even though they were working from Home. We made it possible by proving that an Investment in Knowledge pays the best interest of life.

The awards e-ceremony provided an opportunity for the family members to be a part of the excitement and fun, as well as celebrate with the colleagues. Like the six year old daughter of a team manager, who happily volunteered to sing the invocation song, and many more children and spouses who actively participated in the fun and games lined up especially for them. This work from home season has brought together employees and families during this moment of achievement, recognition and celebration, which is at the core of Huawei’s culture of recognizing and thanking the family members for their support and cooperation towards our members’ dedicated contribution and achievements.
