Absolutely horrible place, tops them all

Can't think of any to be honest
Cons
Run by jokers, legitimately. They advertise for positions to get people in for interviews without the intention of hiring them, but to "test the market" so they say. hey then patronize the poor candidates being interviewed and even made some cry. Then they will wait and wait and never actually even bother informing the candidates they are not hired (they never intended to)

Pros
Before RFG has corrupted employees with their lies, they are good people.
Cons
RFG lies to its own workers, to its customers, and to the Hong Kong government. In other words, they lie to everyone. For instance, they did not inform me that my Work Visa had issues. What were these issues, you ask? Well, their own HR department screwed up my application, which directly led to my Work Visa rejection. I was not informed of this, ever. They do not respect their workers. They do not fairly compensate their workers. They are not on your side. Avoid these terrible people. To HK government: Investigate this company. I worked there for a year as an unpaid intern. I am not a Hong Kong native; instead, an international worker who came to Hong Kong and stole a job from your local workforce. At the time, I didn't know I was breaking the law. This is on RFG; not me. Also, I am not the only one who RFG did this to. They have had multiple ex-pat unpaid interns over the years. Investigate them. Fine them. Stop them.

You get to know where your limits are
20 Jul 2020 - Analyst in Hong KongRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- You get to know where your limits are, how far you can be pushed, or how far you will be able to push others without your head exploding - It is a kind of a boot-camp, you need to suck it up, find a way and deliver, no matter what - in a very twisted way this is actually developing your skills, - BUT and i need to admit it you get a chance to taste different roles and if you are lucky travel a bit - noting scares you any more in terms of management
Cons
- description of the role doesn't match the reality - they will sell it as a cool and important job (don't blame the HR or TLs - that is their job) and the reality is that they will expect you to be expert in everything after a month - no life-work balance, none at all , and the long hours are not the worst, it is rather not being able to actually plan something ahead because you never know if you will be able to leave - no sustainability, no work planning And do not get me wrong - this is not the LM's fault - they are squeezed like lemons by the management -CEO is the best liar i have ever met, every single decision is made by him (regardless of how many layers of management there is) I would say it all depends where you apply (that is why i am giving 2 stars and not 1) - if you go for a non research role/Compliance analyst/professional services that would actually not be that bad (if you are lucky), if you go for for the Compliance analyst role - i wish you luck
