Pros

Compay offers to Pay For Cert test

Cons

Dont trust this company the CEO is not honest. He is controlling and greedy. All of his reviews are from his current 7 Employees. I would not waste my time with this company. Pay is misleading at best the bonus are part of you base pay so, you have a lot of at risk pay. They don't know simple laws about paying their employees correctly, had to go to the labor board to get paid correctly.

This person worked for us for 3 days and was terminated. Apparently he is disgruntled and needs to vent. Yes, we made a mistake on his final paycheck, and immediately corrected it after the weekend. We voluntarily paid him extra to right our wrong- and learned from our mistake. My employees are my most valuable asset. We give them opportunities to advance their career through weekly paid training time and certification reimbursement. We have a significant bonus program to reward performance. It is true that our technicians rarely stay longer than three years, but we are excited for them when they learn a ton with us and are offered better opportunities. Techs who have “graduated” from JR-Tech have left on great terms, and we consider it an honor to have helped them secure a solid career. Education is our first core value, and it shows! Unfortunately, headhunters in our area know that we train the best techs! If you’re deciding whether to work for JR-Tech or the IT Department of a company, consider this: JR-Tech Service Department: • Invests in our techs because they are an asset • Technicians are meeting new challenges every day • Technicians are always learning and deploying new technologies Company IT Department: • IT is a liability (cost) to be managed and reduced • Techs often find themselves fixing the same mundane issues • Their skill-set can stagnate on the same technology Call us, we’re always looking for amazing technicians! Pros

Learn lots of new technology Everyone in the team works well with each other There were few benefits

Cons

Review from "Engineer" was spot on - owner did not trust his employees. Did not promote unless you attained more certifications. Nickeled & dimed his customers on top of the service level agreement. Ignored most of his clients, sometimes dishonest with them.

Yes, our pay structure is based on certifications and our techs receive a raise immediately after passing a new certification, plus we reimburse them for the cost of the tests. We encourage them to study with weekly paid training time, and expect them to keep their certifications current. We have significant bonus program based on utilization, and review it daily with each tech so there are no surprises. Our clients love that our service agreements allow them to have a fixed IT budget, where we cover all their IT support needs each month for a flat fee. They appreciate that all large projects are quoted in advance. Managing the intellectual property of our clients requires us to keep their sensitive data secure and treat it as confidential. Every JR-Tech employee must sign a non-disclosure agreement to help protect our clients’ property. This is not illegal in California. My employees are always doing an outstanding job (thank-you!), and yes, I need to do a better job at expressing my gratitude. Jarom Renfeldt President, JR-Tech 951-319-4040
