Pros
Good earning potential - if you choose the Hourly plan and manage to stay billable. Management is mostly hands off. Great 401K
Cons
Salary plans are not competitive with what other companies offer. Most people I knew took the Hourly plan, which is great if you're willing to take some risk and can keep billable. Bench time is a killer. Benefits costs are outrageous. Employee shoulders close to 100% of the cost. No raises so you better negotiate a good rate when you start. No training whatsoever. You use your own laptop, which is fine, but they insist on installing security software on it to monitor God knows what. If it's their laptop then fine but if it's mine...not so much. Didn't get a good sense of teamwork. Part of the problem is that for every project they send resumes that the customer chooses from and interview. So essentially you are competing against your colleagues for the same job. It doesn't provide much incentive to share knowledge and help others. Many people have been there for a really long time so there is a certain 'Clique-ness'. No career planning or yearly reviews.
