Pros
The 1-1-1 Model here (google it) and a tangible benefit that results of it is 7 full days of VTO (volunteer time off) to be used responsibly at your discretion. Matching gifts to a non-profit of your choice. - Benefits here overall are incredible - ESPP is attractive - Time off is generous - comp package works in your favor- i.e. hard work does in fact = revenue. - equipment is all up-to-date and excellent (iPhone as work phone, and MacBook as laptop) - Training that consists of bootcamp in San Francisco, and further training at a local hub. Ongoing trailheads and updates also keep you on your toes. - Fast-paced environment - Great culture - Talented professionals - Collaborative environment across different segments - Brand recognition - Smooth employee processes in the background (payroll, time logged, benefit tracking, incentive tracking, employee profile, etc). - Continuous acquisitions of companies continues to strengthen our products and offerings. - Snacks, events, and happy hours - Flexibility and autonomy given to consult with your clients - Networking opportunities here are endless
Cons
- You can feel "left-behind" here at times, so it's crucial to stay organized to keep up with the pace, especially early on. - Work-life balance (self-induced): it's easy to become attached to your work and your accounts, and it trickle over into your personal life after hours, or on weekends. - Difficult quota to hit, but that's for a reason. if this were easy I suppose they would let anyone in. Can't think of anything else. It's hard to find things wrong with Salesforce, in fact this section took me a lot longer to provide the bullet points above then the pros section.

Incredible Company Culture
25 Oct 2021 - IT Consultant in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Salesforce is indeed one of the best companies to work for. Culture wise, it's incredible as people are helpful, always there if you need a hand or got stuck and most importantly, when things get tough, stay together as opposed to assigning blame. Pro: - Amazing benefits (Wellness Reimbursement, £5000 per employee per year for training - that's more than some other companies' entire training budget), - Great culture - A lot of swag (especially during Dreamforce/World Tours) - Ability to do paid time off for volunteering - this is actively encouraged - Transparency and Open Communication from Upper Management in regards to company direction and strategy
Cons
Hard to grow if you joined at a lower grade level

Salesforce Review
6 Oct 2021 - Strategic Account Manager in Phoenix, AZRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Excellent solutions that make a positive impact for customers in every industry. From small to large global customers. Salesforce is a large company that runs like a nimble start up. Inventing relevant, timely solutions with relevant GTM strategy, messaging at all levels of the company. Great culture, employees are invested in customer success. Volunteering is encouraged, celebrated, and supported. Company match for 401k, benefits are great, plenty of time off to recharge. High expectations and High Caliber team. There are many employee discounts at the largest brands.
Cons
% of reps that make OTE is low.

Great company and people, low pay for my role
23 Dec 2020 - Associate Solution Engineer in Dallas, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Excellent culture, great benefits and fun people. My manager definitely cares and I love my team.
Cons
With rapid growth it’s hard to move up quickly. There is more red tape than before in terms of trying new projects, getting approvals and promotions. There used to be more of a startup mentality and more freedom. I’ve noticed an increase in administrative activities as we have rapidly grown this past year. The “target income” is much less than what recruiters advertise. I’ve overachieved my metrics and have done an amazing job yet have been stuck at an associate title. I am paid less than others who are external new hires in my same role. I was told “although I qualify for a promotion, there are many others on the bench who did not make the promotion cut last time. If I want to be at my desired salary I should leave for a year so I am an external hire and then be rehired back in.” I do not want to leave as I love my team but unfortunately I may have to in order to advance my career and avoid red tape. This doesn’t make sense to me since it would cost Salesforce more to replace people than simply giving raises to those who qualify.

Great place to grow for new grad
8 Jul 2021 - Software Engineer in San Francisco, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Very strong and experienced colleagues willing to spend time to mentor - Great work-life balance - Fun to work downtown in SF and in the Salesforce Tower - Great culture and company ethics, feel-good place to be - Emphasis on health and personal well-being
Cons
- Slow pace as is the nature of enterprise technology - Internal developer tools could use some work - High-caliber intern and new grad class can often feel competitive - New grad program events and mentorship isn't as great as the intern experience (which is stellar)

Pros
Great culture and benefits. Company has been growing forever.
Cons
Between my offer and day of joining I get a call saying things have changed and hence my role and my manager will change. I still went ahead and joined. In last 3 years I saw my role getting marginalized and eventually killed. And the way this was handled or rather not handled, was disappointing - no communication from HR or my manager till 3 weeks before the role was going to be eliminated. In general while the company is growing, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will grow. The company puts more incentives on the "Core" or Prime sales and not so much on "Cloud" or co-prime sales. Co prime sales are clearly 2nd rate citizens.
