      Microaggressions abound

      Pros

Amazing faculty. Amazing students. They are some of the best people you could have the opportunity of working with.

      Cons

So many times, I hear about racist microaggressions from the administration. The school itself may be progressive, but it's clear that faculty who are people of color are putting up with absolute bull from admin.

      Little room for growth

      Pros

Supportive co-workers; passionate, smart, innovative faculty, staff and students. Some professional development opportunities for staff and decent employee benefits.

      Cons

Overworked and understaffed teams, annual merit increases are inconsequential, top-down leadership, morale feels like it keeps getting worse. Opportunities for growth are few and far between for those in entry level/associate roles.

It's great, but it's not perfect

      Pros

Love working with students. Pay is higher than many others schools for part-time adjunct. The teams really make the difference, so if you don't like your team, you can try to get into another department.

      Cons

Union members can be super pushy. You need to pay union dues as well. For adjuncts, there's no real stability/guarantee of work from one semester to the next.

      Lack of transparency

      Pros

Good location and that is about it.

      Cons

Leadership treat social justice and diversity as a branding strategy - a very hypocritical bunch of folks who are out of touch with staff, faculty, and students.

      Cons

Disappointing follow-through on promises, over-hierarchical, no chance for advancement, absentee overcompensated upper administration.
