I worked at Match Marketing Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The staff gets along. This is because they all do not like, respect, or trust the senior leaders in the company.

    Cons

Misogynistic and racially insensitive senior management, no culture, understaffed, high turnover.

I worked at Match Marketing Group full-time

    Pros

    I have none to share.

    Cons

Lack of leadership and direction. Leadership changed every few months. HR is non-existent. Toxic culture. Hostile environment. They will work you until you burn out and then throw you away. I experienced weekly micro-aggressions from my client. I was constantly spoken down to and belittled. I couldn’t report incidents to HR because every contact I had had been fired, and I could not get anyone on the phone. When I reported it to a VP (because there was no management between myself and them because everyone had quit) I was told they were sorry because my client’s behavior is unacceptable but that was it. Nothing was done to remedy the situation, support me, or protect me. When I reported another incident I was told by this same VP that they just “hoped things would work themselves out.” I was not supported in any way whatsoever. They consciously choose to NOT support minorities. Minorities beware.

I worked at Match Marketing Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Talented team members, gym and cell phone reimbursement, and trendy clients

    Cons

The non-existent HR department, lack of leadership from the top-down, always overpromising to the client and poor business management. What kind of agency asks their staff to continue working for months without a scope of work from the client? Don't expect the leadership team to be supportive and check in on you either. Look elsewhere if you want to work in a positive environment where you are treated with respect and valued by your employer.

I have been working at Match Marketing Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

My counterparts, some great clients good people in creative

    Cons

Upper management horribly over promised to the client. So much so that the client took the business to a different agency. There has been way too much turnover in upper management to make me feel secure. My interview process was a joke which should have been a huge red flag for me Overall, I get the feeling the entire agency is hanging on by a thread.
