    Pros

    - Great Leadership - Team comradeship, team members will go out of there way to provide guidance if needed - Great internal resources, Leidos provides a solid repository for employees to research and resolve questions. Cons

    - Salary: Leidos is not as competitive as other federal contractors and negotiation in salary is hard to facilitate. -Promotion: Leidos is hard set on promoting individuals regardless of your accomplishments. It is an antiquated system that only looks at years in service. This may be case by case basis but it has led to a lot of turn over in my years within the organization Turnover: Similar to the above, Leidos has...

    Advice to Management

Find a way to keep young talent. I worked for Leidos for 2 years and all my young colleagues left to take on more challenging and better opportunites, including myself. Find a way to promote! People sit in the same position for multiple years! Find a better way to reward your staff! Incentivize your staff! Utilize the Leidos Blue resources. Now that the tide has settled from Leidos Blue to Leidos purple, take...

I have been working at Leidos full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Pretty laid back and mostly stress free job. Can carry a PTO balance up to 400. Can most likely work from home sometimes but this all depends on what team you are put on. There is shift differential pay if you end up working nights/weekends.

    Cons

Hours may not be the standard 9-5. Some weekend work. Benefits are okay but not great. Career growth given it’s a customer site seems tricky.

I have been working at Leidos full-time

    Pros

I enjoy a good amount of flexibility to telework. The 401K match is great. Management is decent -- but everything depends on the program you support and what its requirements are.

    Cons

Administrative tasks are all self-service through various online portals, many of which are not all that clear or helpful. Would prefer more health insurance options.

I worked at Leidos full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A big corporate company with lot of good benefits. Lot of opportunities given for employee growth.

    Cons

When you work at their client side, you will feel disconnected. You may not know some important changes in the companies until your manager tells you.
