      Pros

The staff goes above and beyond. They made the job bearable during the roughest of times. They are truly amazing.

      Cons

Upper management. The things I’ve witnessed you do are unacceptable. From shouting in employees faces for asking “can I help with anything?” To not taking a sexual harassment complaint seriously and victim blaming. Saying that it’s not harassment it’s an annoyance. The mental state you’ve put employees in should make you ashamed. You’re supposed to display leadership, empathy, and above all human decency! You’ve created such a hostile work environment, that the open door policy lazy dog is supposed to have is nonexistent in this building. We shouldn’t fear our GM and our assistant GM shouldn’t gossip behind everyone’s back. I’ve heard both of you on multiple occasions talk down about employees. You even asked an expo “when was the last time you got your teeth kicked in?” I ask the regional managers and higher ups this one question, what will it take for you to finally step in and do something? Because we all know this isn’t the first time someone has complained. So instead of coming in once every few months to talk to management and the “golden” staff that they hand select to serve you. Actually come in unannounced and talk to those who actually sweat for this company. The ones who never get recognized or get employee of the month. The ones who actually keep this place going because they remind everyone that it’s going to be ok and they are doing great.

        Pros

There used to be a lot of pros about this restaurant and I used to want to recommend this place to work but I no longer feel that way at all, especially in the past 6 months. The corporate values seem not to do much but make our lives harder as employees. The higher up people in corporate are very inflexible and don’t care about the day to day struggles of their employees.

        Cons

Managers will not give more than 3 shifts a week now that the tablets have been implemented into the restaurant. Less money, more stress. I can’t even pay rent with 3 shifts a week. -The competitive vibe for shifts used to be alright but now it’s very negative due to the implementation of the tablets at table ordering. -Managers are often never on the same page, they play favorites with specific employees. -Often forced to wear flannel shirts in 90 degree weather because our “summer uniform” policies don’t follow regional weather patterns. Even if you’re in 100 degree AZ, you still have to wear the same shirt as someone in 50 degree Colorado. Plus, the flannels are ugly in the first place and we get many concerned questions from customers asking why we’re wearing them in such hot weather. Time to pick a new uniform!

            Pros

Cool coworkers, good food, good discount, ONE SINGULAR good manager

            Cons

All the other managers suck and are rude and inconsiderate, too many comps, the “lazy dog way” is literally just let’s make this as difficult as possible, no auto grat in a place with primarily international tourists and have gotten screwed on big parties but still have to tip out all the money I made on the one table
