Pros
Great work -life balance with amazing benefits and a competitive compensation package. Management team truly cares about employees, training programs are top-notch. Since day one I was made to feel welcome and I am proud to say I am working for a company which values individuality
Cons
You may need to work late from home sometimes when the company needs you to but it is balanced with the ability to work from home.

Pros
They do like to promote within, but that can lead to underqualified employees in management positions.
Cons
I worked for Kimpton before COVID and after. Their qualifications and standards have significantly decreased after COVID. Multiple department standards have gone to the wayside, and management does the bare minimum for their employees. The employees who work hard and try to be successful are dumped with an unmanageable workload due to managers who are not willing to do their share and complete basic tasks for their department. The Kimpton spirit is gone, and employees are confrontational with HR unwilling to step in and make changes toward a better Kimpton culture. Accounting took on most of the responsibilities while the hotels were closed during COVID, but now that occupancy is picking up, other departments are unwilling to reclaim the responsibilities that were once theirs, which has left the finance departments understaffed and overworked. I am extremely disappointed in home office for not providing properties with the correct guidance to recover from COVID. So much knowledge was lost when employees were let go during the pandemic, and home office has made little effort to provide training and support for their current employees.

Pros
Great coworkers and nice environment to work in.
Cons
Overworked for minimal hourly pay. Hotel management team is never on the same page and makes employees work life very unnecessarily stressful. Lots of empty promises from the director level but nothing ever is fulfilled. Upper management does not take care of their staff and only tries to screw others over for their own personal gain. You literally can't trust any upper management for anything.
