      Pros

      1. Focus on work culture is great 2. Nice co workers 3. Desire to make improvements 4. Genuinely care for their colleagues 5. Salaries market compatible and pensions excellent.

      Cons

      1. Lots of work to do, not much time to do it. 2. Perception of Fire Service based on press reports of other services is demotivating and doesn’t represent KFRS.

      Pros

      Only worked here for a short time but it is a great organisation with a great bunch of people delivering a critical service. Everyone is passionate about what they do and very friendly and welcoming.

      Cons

      If you are from the private sector you will find it very slow paced. No different from the civil service. Alot of non operational staff are agency or fixed term.
