Beware, large company filled with egotistical & narcissistic leaders

Pros

Good benefits, great location (if you are posted in Jakarta), alot of activities, comfortable office space, provided lunch

Cons

Leaders who wear black clothing speak full of BS and act as if they are little kings and queens that live in the Sampoerna castle. You can only make it if you rub elbows with the black suit leaders. HR doesnt help when you have issues with your team and your black suit manager.

- Competitive C&B package - Great opportunities on International Assignment (or just travel abroad) - You perform and can "sell" yourself to management, You get promoted very fast. The only limit is yourself - Very dynamic organization

Cons

- Work life balance does not exist - Need to cascade down policy from top management and actually take action. The direction from top is good but when it comes to down level, it is not implemented - Can be political - Performance Appraisal is based on quota - Performance Appraisal is done long before the discussion between supervisor and employee

Good salary and benefits, fair career path and promotion. Recently they prefer to recruit fresh graduates as they have the "spirits" to go above and beyond.

Cons

Bad management style, a lot of unnecessary politics, less transparency in the job description vs reality (no brainer-jobs cause mostly selling, visit traditional markets, have events at bars/cafes)
