Pros

The people: Kind, positive, smart, motivated, human, supportive The technology: Complex, powerful, crucial for our customers, ever evolving and improving The leadership: Involved, transparent, trustworthy, experienced, motivated, happy The culture: unique, natural and impacted by every new team member

Cons

If you don’t like autonomy. If you aren’t curious. If you dislike smiling and laughing and feeling like your 9-5 surrounds you with other humans living important lives outside of work… then you wouldn’t like Fluency.

Pros

- Company Culture (Can't say enough good things about this) - Work/Life Balance - Remote first - Overall transparency

Cons

- A con, but also a pro: Complex topics are sometimes brushed over with the assumption everyone understands them, making it difficult to know what's important to figure out. However, if you take the time to ask questions, everyone is extremely helpful and will answer anything without hesitation.

Pros

The most unique part of this company are the founders, their leadership, and down to earth connection with every employee. It's easy to lose sight of workers especially being the highest in the hierarchy, but Fluency's leaders do an amazing job "working on the ground floor." There is ALWAYS support as needed, and have always felt trust between management and employees. A lot of the company are a bit older, with kids and families, and it makes work life balance and remote culture actually enjoyable. The peers are some of the most talented people I've worked with, and says a lot about Fluency to be able to create teams that not only are super bright and efficient, but also work well together and have a good camaraderie with each other.

Cons

Super fast paced and not always organized with clear direction on tasks

Thanks for posting a review and always appreciate the feedback! The work/life balance is needed for all us! If you ever feel like you need more direction, please ask. Additionally, you can always come to me (Mike) if you don't feel like you are getting what you need on direction. I want to make sure that isn't and obstacle for you and in an growing organization, it is an important element to manage!
