    "Employment Relations Graduate Program"

    5.0

I have been working at Employsure

    Pros

    1. Lots of practical and hands-on learning 2. They invest a lot into you 3. Great work culture 4. Awesome people 5. Abundance of support 6. Free breakfast 7. Hired as a group As a fresh graduate straight out of university, my graduate position at Employsure was my very first full-time role. Adjusting to the whole scene of full-time work and “having no time to do anything else” wasn’t the easiest. But with the help of your colleagues and mentor, made it a lot easier and definitely more enjoyable. Getting hired as a group is a major perk in my opinion. This means whatever challenges you need to overcome, you have a team right there with you overcoming the same challenges. You’re all there supporting each other and it honestly feels like a little work family. This is a value-based company, which makes this company so unique. This means that you don’t need to worry about toxic workplaces where you feel cornered or pressured to be the last one to leave. It’s a workplace that recognises all your achievements and ensures that you’re constantly growing, and not only as a worker but as a person. A company that actually cares about you. I had no experience and little to no knowledge on employment relations. But now I have an abundance of knowledge in this area and it’s all thanks to Employsure. To be honest, I never thought I’d be chosen for this role. I was fresh out of uni with nothing relating to employment relations on my resume. But this company doesn’t care if you have the best grades or the most experience, they care more about your values; and to me, that’s what makes Employsure such a great workplace. They train you up really well and spend time and money on making sure you succeed. An example of this is having a full trip to Sydney paid for (meals and accommodation included!), just for your induction into the company. It’s been a great four months and I know it’s only going to get better, so I am definitely looking forward to a fulfilling career with Employsure!

    Cons

    1. Work hours are a bit long 2. VERY fast-paced The company itself is very fast-paced, but the graduate program? That’s a-whole-nother level. You go from having no knowledge at all about employment relations to reading awards, drafting contracts and writing up disciplinary invitations in just a span of four months! Definitely not for the faint-hearted, but in all honesty this really isn’t a con. The program really challenges you and accelerates your growth which is amazing. If you’re not used to/willing to be in a fast-paced environment, then this position won’t be for you.

I have been working at Employsure full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone is so kind, professional, everyone is willing to help each other out. There's free breakfast everyday. We have a dry cleaning service. There's a quiet room to take a nap in, or pray/ meditate. There's a tea trolley twice per week that comes to your desk and gives you a tea and a delicious snack. This company genuinely cares for it's employees and helps them to do their best. Access to fresh fruit, biscuits and mentos ALL DAY. EVERY DAY! Amazing leadership, very motivating and inspiring people. Flexible work, meaning you can work from home! Loads of opportunities to change positions, get promoted and grow, so you wont be stuck to one thing.

    Cons

Occasionally the dishwasher breaks, but that can happen anywhere really.

I have been working at Employsure full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The list of benefits Employsure provide are endless: additional leave days, flexible working requests, ambassadors club for those who reach 2 years of service with the business, free breakfast, fun social activities, afternoon tea trolley, tuckshop, and much more! The company reward those that put in the hard yards and are dedicated to both their role and the success of the business. There's great career pathways offered throughout the business.

I have been working at Employsure part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Employsure met my need for flexible and remote working enabling me to juggle multiple priorities within my work and life whilst living a long way from the city offices. There is a wonderful culture with friendly, open and approachable management and multiple training, development and career opportunities. The Company strives to make the workplace fun and inviting and provides free breakfast, tea trolleys and other food-related perks for office-based staff. There is a supportive environment which encourages personal growth and development and recognises success. Working with so many diverse clients provides an outstanding opportunity for exposure to the many issues of employment relations.

    Cons

Not really a con but there is a strong focus on following process and procedure, essential for uniformity of service provision. Consequently the role wouldn't suit someone who can't cope with structure and control. Remote workers do miss out on the workplace perks though - uber tea trolley required!
