Pros

The pace is real — things move fast and decisions actually get made. What I've valued most is that the work isn't abstract. Whether it's a product launch or a people initiative, you see the impact - it's not just effort for the sake of effort Genuinely smart, low ego people across the business. Insurtech is a niche world but Zego has managed to pull in amazing talent from both tech and traditional insurance which I think has led to the great results we've had and our profitability. There's real autonomy here. If you want to own something and shape it, the door is open. You won't be told what to do or how to do it — which is either a pro or a con depending on who you are.

Cons

The speed that makes it exciting can also make it scrappy. Priorities shift, and if you need a lot of structure or certainty to do your best work, you might find that challenging.

It is great to hear that the ability to see the direct results of your work is something you value. We take pride in building a space where decisions lead to tangible outcomes rather than just abstract effort. It’s also brilliant to know that the blend of talent from different industries and our culture of autonomy is resonating with you. We believe that giving people the freedom to own and shape their work is what drives our best results. We appreciate your perspective on the pace, we believe this agility is what allows us to stay ahead. Thank you for the feedback and for everything you contribute to the team!

- Great company culture. I haven't met one person who isn't great to work with. Even those people right at the top. - The BI team is very strong. - Great tech stack - Work from anywhere policy

Cons

- Work from anywhere policy means you don't have as strong bonds with your team or stakeholders - The growth could be more ambitious
