If you are injured, they will destroy your family and your life to avoid benefits - Field Service Professional WorkMarket Employee Review

Pros

It's the Gig-Economy equivalent of Uber. If you want to control your own work life and have access to lucrative new client options, WorkMarket may provide you with opportunities that fit your needs.

Cons

You can read about them in Scott B. Sullivan v. WorkMarket. I was injured twelve years ago while the company was called OnForce. It has been bought and sold twice in between; but it is the current management of WorkMarket that has argued in the Federal Court that I bought insurance from some unknown third party insurer. So, I can confidently say that the current ownership and management will perjure themselves to avoid paying benefits or provide medical care to an injured worker. Literally...perform work on the WorkMarket Platform at your own risk, because if you get hurt, your private insurance will cut you off for being injured in a "work-related" injury (check your health insurance contracts and state laws on subrogation) and WorkMarket and whoever they claim to be their insurer will destroy your life and your family as legal strategy to avoid paying any benefits. Oh...yeah...and then they will threaten to sue you for defamation if you tell anyone, including via reviews at GlassDoor, about what they did to you. Maybe they should have extorted a confidentiality agreement, but since they chose litigation abuse, perjury and fraud as their legal strategy, the one and only thing I have left is my freedom of speech to warn everyone that if you get injured while performing "Gig-work" at WorkMarket, they will do anything to avoid paying for medical care and benefits
