Pros

Some of my team members are great The location is convenient The pay isn't the worst in London, but isn't great for finance in general The building has a gym

Cons

Leadership is pushing AI, freezing hiring, and lacks vision or leadership skills in general. Gone are the days where you were expected to do 1.5-2 roles in one for "development", now you are expected to do 3 roles + find a way to integrate AI to "help" despite the cost of AI far exceeding a junior hire which would benefit your team, the junior hire, the bank, and the general economy. Leadership demands instead of leads. They have expectations without resourcing or even understanding what they want (e.g. AI).

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
