Pros
Employees that work there are wonder. They try and make the monthly "cultural" events fun. Sometimes they miss the "cultural"mark and are racist. The 3-D printing training is cool but the strings that come with learning that skill are not worth it. Once you learn how this skill, you are expected to take on new projects outside your job description (which doesn't exist) and if you tell the founder NO, you get told to find a new job. (seriously) They do pay for your medical benefits which is nice and have a 2% 401k match.
Cons
The management team is not on the same page. The principal & owner believes that he does no wrong and micromanages every department, even when he has no idea how something works. He doesn't listen to suggestions or advice. It is his way or the highway. He is HR, legal, accounting and even sales. They overextend every employee that is not on the production line. The management team expects employees there before their scheduled time and are expected to stay after 5pm every day. If you don't stay after 5pm or leave right at 5pm, they question if you want to work there. The principal & owner is the only person that determines when raises are given and how much that raise will be. It is done at his leisure.
