Pros

None! The place is a joke!

Cons

Step One pays you $14 an hr(calling it a draw) and when you get paid your commission they take back whatever you “earn” on your hourly. When I was hired Oct 9th I was told that for 90 days I would get my hourly pay & get to keep it plus my commission to help me get settled in at the job. Anyways, I was paid like they said in Nov for my Oct work. I got to keep the hourly & the commission. Then I realized I hadn’t get my commission check for Nov. this was on Dec 18th(usually paid on the 15th) so I went & asked my manager about it. At 2:30pm that day I was pulled in the GM’s office to let me know I wouldn’t be getting the commission check this month because it’s not how the pay plan is set up.(they keep the commish check if your hourly draw was more than the comish check)I informed him of what I was told he called the lady who I informed him told me & she said “I must have misinformed him” and he said he doesn’t know why I was able to keep both in November but I couldn’t keep the December one. That was $3000. They owed me and they felt they could just keep it after telling me one thing and doing something else so I quit.

Pros

Working on the marketing team at Step One Automotive Group was a truly rewarding experience. I had the opportunity to work with a great team and learned a lot in a fast-paced environment. The collaborative and dynamic atmosphere made every day exciting and full of new challenges. I am grateful for the growth opportunities and the professional development I gained during my time there.

Cons

It really depends on what department your working, but my experience was a positive one in the marketing department.
