Pros
This is a fantastic place for a designer who wants to grow beyond pixels. The product team has a deep, weekly commitment to user research, so UX decisions are always rooted in real user pain points. The collaboration with other teams (engineering, product, operation etc) is excellent and gives you a holistic view of the business.
Cons
The flip side of this growth is that you must be proactive in prioritizing your tasks. You'll have opportunities to get involved in areas outside core design, which is a pro, but can lead to scope creep or burnout if you don't set clear boundaries.
