Pros
I cannot honestly say a good thing about my experience with Shelter. If you like Central Missouri for a month (2-2 week stints about a month apart) at the Drury inn or Holiday Inn (employee responsible for transportation expenses company pays hotel and some meals) with 10 hour days in a room with no windows i guess this would be ok
Cons
God forbid you bring your spouse to Missouri with you (nice meeting people who introduce themselves as married then watch them hook up with coworkers) or leave the training campus for lunch or do like i did and get really sick. There is a wonderful night of telemarketing for 3 hours after 9 hours of class where they watch you like a hawk and expect you to work miracles on a cold call in a different market than where you live. And if you have any experience at all in the insurance industry, get ready for insurance 101 for 10 hours a day for the first two week session. Trainers were cool. Recruiter and district manager lied about book i was taking over and the income it was generating. District manager dressed like an adult industry professional on the center of influence interviews with my peers. To top it off wondered why I had not sold much while I was in MO. Worst mistake I ever made. Huge waste of my resources and time.
