      Pros

      Title work isn't for everyone but for those who can tough out the conditions, this was a great place to work.

      Cons

      You have to drive all over Texas and stay in what often turn out to be awful hotels, but that is simply part of the life of a landman.

      Pros

      At Shaw Interests you become family. Mr. Shaw is THE best boss I ever had. He was patient, gracious and a good man to know. I am blessed to have known him.

      Good money for the work involved.

      Cons

      Owner can go from jovial to downright cruel at the drop of a hat. Almost abusive. Micro-managed.
