      Decent coworkers is really the only pro here.

      Cons

      “Leadership” is too busy trying to convince themselves they are leaders to actually make any decisions. Most of the leadership is a buddy network that followed each other from failed positions at other mines.

      The smaller operation gave you an opportunity to get to know everybody which helped generate good ideas and kept information flowing.

      Cons

      The smaller size did limit career progression.

      Pros

      If you are lazy, all you have to do is show up on time and you aren't likely to be disciplined/fired.

      Cons

      Just about everything. Morale sucks. HR sucks. Many people aren't doing anything other than collecting a pay check. NOBODY GAF.
