Pros

Best culture and company beliefs out there, truly makes you proud to be Ritz-Carlton. Co-workers are for the most part amazing ladies and gentlemen to work with.

Cons

I literally was on the verge of divorce because of the hours I worked. I barely got to see my spouse or speak to my parents on the phone. My doctor told me to quit because of the health problems I was experiencing i.e. breathing problems, nervous symptoms. Working 7am to 6pm one day, my boss asked why I was taking a half day. Six day work weeks, 12 hours a day, and a ridiculously meager salary. I got paid in smiles and invective.

Pros

Hotel Benefits would convenient at times

Cons

Horrible to work at the Ritz Carlton Boston. I was terminated because someone decided to report me they I was nodding off briefly in the office. They first suspended me with a notice explaining my suspension and then they terminated me with a different notice with the summary of that notice not matching up with the suspension notice. Human Resources lied to me and told me that the reason they found out I nodded off was because they were reviewing footage for something and just happened to come across me on camera which does not add up to the two statements I received. Cafeteria food was terrible. You would think a five star hotel would cook better food. Sometimes the food was burnt and did not taste good at all!!!
