Pros
Interesting relevant software, to some clients.. (Some) members of Upper Management are cool. It's a good starting place for your career.
Cons
There's been a lot of turnover lately. People have been let go and have quit, likely all due to new policies and quotas that the company has put in place. Management doesn't seem to understand the differences in markets. As I talk to more and more people at the company it seems like many don't really see an opportunity for growth or advancement. If you think about it, a lot of larger companies have their own IP Protection or Patent/Brand Protection teams built into Legal so it's really hard to break into larger more valuable companies. Just don't seem like a business that can really scale in the long term. The culture also gets cliquey after a while. That probably happens as groups get bigger but it makes it hard for a new hire to get involved, and the "bonding" seems very forced.
