Pros

If you're someone who wants to learn fast, wear a lot of hats, and actually make an impact, this is the place. You can pretty much try anything (marketing, training, operations, accounting, project management, etc.) and if you see something that could be better, you’re empowered to change it. It’s a fantastic resume builder because the scope of what you’ll touch is huge, and you’re trusted to take ownership. The work itself is also meaningful. We’re not just moving pets... we’re helping families, and that’s something clients never forget. It’s complex and emotional, but when it goes well, it’s incredibly rewarding. And honestly, most clients are awesome... smart, adventurous, interesting, kind, and fun to work with. You get to talk to people all day about their furry family members and learn more about all these different international places. It's really not that serious, and that kind of mindset helps keep it fun even when it's busy. Flexibility is also a big perk. As long as you’re organized and communicate well, you can structure your days in a way that works for you. And bonus money is very attainable every quarter, not just pie in the sky, but it IS a hustle!

Cons

The work can be intense and nonstop. Time zones, government agencies, emotional clients, tight deadlines... there are definitely weeks that feel like a sprint. If you need a super structured 9–5 or struggle with uncertainty, this may not be your vibe. It's definitely not the right fit for everyone.

Pros

Incredibly rewarding work – Every day brings a new challenge and the chance to help pets reunite with their families across the globe. High degree of autonomy – You’re trusted to manage your own case load, build relationships with clients, and take ownership of complex international moves. Exposure to global logistics and regulations – The role has significantly deepened my knowledge of international import/export laws, customs processes, and airline procedures. Supportive team environment – Leadership is approachable, collaborative, and invested in both client satisfaction and employee success. Strong relationships – You form lasting connections with clients who deeply appreciate your guidance through one of the more stressful parts of their relocation. Mission-driven company – There’s real heart behind what we do; the focus on pet safety and compliance is genuine.

Cons

Fast-paced and high-stakes – The role demands quick thinking, resilience under pressure, and sometimes after-hours attention to client needs or flight issues. Processes can be fluid – With the nature of international logistics, regulatory changes, and third-party dependencies, flexibility is essential (and at times, things can feel reactive). Emotional labor – Supporting clients during stressful moments (e.g. last-minute flight changes, pet health concerns) can take a toll if you don’t build in space to recharge.
