Bottom line is personal profit generability, if you like being loosely associated with customer service and performing mundane, tedious and repetitive work, then PPD is the place for you. Overqualified analysts are constitutively underpaid and you have absolutely no value to the company. If you demand to be paid more (like a living wage..) it is more profitable for them to let you go and hire another naive, fresh-out-of college robot worker. If you are looking for a job for a gap year for grad school or med school, its not worth the stress and long hours, trust me.
