Pros

Fun people, false motivation, promises tons of opportunities. The morning routines they try and teach you the ways to hard sell prospective leads. You are a lead generator trying to help not your company, but the one above them make money.

Cons

Independent contractor with no benefits or set pay. Door to door sales for many clientele, or working in sam's club selling direct tv deals. this place is a scam and only the nieve work there. don't waste your time or money trying to work in this pyramid scheme.

Hey Reviewer, Thanks for your review. Our employees are not independent contractors and do have set pay. Anyone we hire must sign a compensation agreement upon being hired. We do not work in any retail environments, so you may have us confused with someone else. We are not involved in a pyramid scheme, since that is an illegal business practice. Our team members do get paid weekly based upon performance. As you know, we require any sales representative that we hire to complete a full day of job shadowing prior to employment. This ensures that before we ever offer the job, the candidate is able to see the exact job duties performed, including interactions with customers. Compensation details are also discussed within the job shadow session, so if you were not happy with the job duties or compensation, we’re not sure why you accepted the position. We have designed our interview process so that we can be as up front as possible about the job duties. Please contact us at the office with any further questions or concerns. Best, The One Chicago Team

Pros

You'll meet some really cool people, have some fun times-- business trips are a lot of fun and a good way to make some extra money (sometimes). The in-office work environment is fun- sometimes we would play games to pump up energy before hitting the field. You'll learn a lot about business goals and entrepreneurship in the meetings and conference calls; business wisdom that you'll take with you for the rest of your life. You don't have to be at the office until 11am. The managers are really cool and helpful.

Cons

Long days! There was a long commute back and forth, plus the 9-hr day. You have to be going door to door selling products/services rain or shine- torrential downpours, tornadoes, etc. During the initial interview there was no mention that I was going to be going door-to-door, just "face-to-face interactions with customers." I didn't know what I was getting myself into until I went on the follow-up interview with a leader- to the middle of nowhere, where I basically shadowed him for the day. He sold the job well, so I decided to take it. You typically have to be doing door-to-door sales for well over a year before you move up.
