      The advertising department for the student newspaper is still at an awkward stage due to the switch to digital, but it creates great opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      Creative work isn't very respected and much of the work being done is more for survival through sales.

      -Great way to learn about the sales cycle -Perfect way to Network with faculty, staff, students on campus -Flexible hours that work around your schedule -Ability to control and grow your own income

      -Print media is less popular than it was in the past.

      Pros

      Great place to learn and get great client experience. If you stick around long enough you can meet life-long friends too. Pretty easy to get hired and work your way up to Senior Account Executive/ other managing positions.

      Cons

      The business office and upper management is very standoffish. Lack of communication between different departments can seriously hurt the business as a whole.
