Pros
- Comfortable place to work - Generally good pay - MM is a leader in making Hot Runners, so there's lots to learn (from an Engineering perspective) - Very experienced colleagues
Cons
I will try to be very fair in my Cons: - Some employees at Mold-Masters are very resistant to change processes/habits. - No long term strategic planning - My biggest concern is the President.. She leads like an Army-leader/Dictator. Although she's experienced in the industry and knows her stuff, she has fired many people. If she likes you, you're good. If she doesn't, you're out. She's quite old-fashioned and not up-to-date with technology/new processes, etc... She believes that most employees are lazy, and the way to make them hard is to keep "hammering" them ?! Many employees have learnt to keep their head down and do their stuff to get paid and support their families....then she wonders why employees are not motivated and don't work as hard. A part of me thinks that she's an impediment to the growth of the company. I can go on for much longer... Overall, if you're a young Engineer, this is a great company to learn and start your career. If you're coming in as a Manager/Director/VP, I'd think many times before joining......
