Work Here if You Want to Destroy Your Mental Health and Self Worth!!!! - Project Coordinator Mogul Employee Review

Everything about this sham company is a con. The basic premise is a lie. Mogul is all about women's empowerment, but all they do is tear women down. I have seen the leadership team viciously attack one another's character and work ethic on multiple occasions. And if you are not leadership? WATCH OUT. Don't speak your mind and don't ask questions. If you do, exec will see it as a direct attack on them and will make your life a living hell or push you out. Before the entire office went remote (we no longer have any physical offices), I watched multiple coworkers openly sob in the office. It was a very toxic environment for everyone - basically, anxiety, all the time, always. Next up, we have the weird company culture around food. Once the CEO announced to the entire company in a mandatory meeting that the highlight of her week was losing 5 pounds on Jenny Craig. If you are thinking, hmm, that doesn't seem very body positive -- you would be right. I felt bad about myself all the time. It's also very uncomfortable for an entire workplace to see its leader putting value on weight loss over work at a meeting. Some employees also got in trouble for ordering food for company wide lunch that wasn't "healthy" enough - it was unhealthy because it included carbs. Moving on - the exec team. This is included in most negative reviews on here, but it's made up of family members, childhood friends of family members, and used to include someone who was dating a family member until that relationship ended. I don't think I really need to explain why that is unacceptable and unethical. It also led to the CTO not coding or creating a product. Maybe his mind was elsewhere. Finally, and this is truly the worst thing about Mogul - It is FRAUDULENT. The company promises current and potential clients that for every dollar it makes, a dollar goes into educational resources for an underserved girl via a partnership with the UN. Mogul donates NO MONEY or resources to these girls - it is a total lie. When the opportunity presents itself, exec says they can't afford it. Mogul is literally defrauding investors and clients. It is disgusting. The company destroyed my mental health and self worth. I have had multiple mental breakdowns since working here, and at one point developed an eating disorder. Family members and friends recommended I quit because of the negative effects Mogul has on my life. The CEO makes like 5 fake accounts a day to retroact the real negative reviews this company gets, so I am sure like 10 positive ones will appear tomorrow, but read the negative ones since they are actually real. You can also just search how many people have ever actually worked (not as an influencer, lol) for Mogul and you will see it's like 20, despite the whopping 40 reviews.
