Pros

Like the headline says, this is by far the best place I have ever worked. I don't believe there is ever a "one size fits all" approach for a company to be the perfect place for everyone, so here's why it meshes so well for me: - Entrepreneurial: LiveSwitch is a growing company that has big ambitious for the next couple of years. The company is also small enough that you get to be on the ground floor of something exciting. This also means I get to wear different hats, work on a variety of things, and solve different problems. - Interesting problems: The technology is always on the cutting edge of what is and is not possible, while constantly pushing that limit. While the problems are complex, it also makes it really interesting to work on. - Smart people: Most of the founders and managing team have either been working on this technology since its inceptions (real leaders in the space) or have a proven track record of starting and building great companies. Maybe counterintuitively then, LiveSwitch is less hierarchical than most companies. As an engineer you might spend 5-10 percent of your time in meetings and 90 percent actually doing code.

Cons

Depending on what you are looking for in a job, any of the pros I listed above could be a con. If you are just looking to get a paycheck (which there is nothing wrong with, by the way) then this may not be the right place. The organization is very data centric, and as new information and data comes in the leadership is quick to adjust. This might be a little jolting if you do not like to work that way.

Pros

Experienced Leadership: Upper management has a proven track record and has successfully scaled companies before. They aren't guessing, they win and execute with precision. Clear and Direct Culture: Communication is transparent and direct across the board. This is a place where you can build a long-term career and be part of something genuinely special. Unlike many tech environments, the expectations and daily operations here are calculated and intentional. You always know where you stand. This team truly cares about your success.

Cons

Very face paced. The structured environment means things move quickly. If you rely on a slow onboarding ramp or prefer to do things at your own speed, with an unchanging routine, the rapid growth and high-performance expectations might feel intense at first.

Pros

- AI-enabled tech with a good product/market fit in home services and the trades. - Fast updates and improvements to the product make it easy to go back to old prospects with "what's new" and to be able to show off something cool - Culture of listening to customers and allowing that to help shape product roadmap - Pricing that is fairly simple and well-positioned against other players in the market - Recent improvements to tech stack to help with outbound (like Nooks) and to enhance the inbound lead flow It's cool to be at the forefront of the shift in how home service companies quote jobs and document work, and being able to see the real-world impact that our platform has on their businesses.

Cons

- A focus on cash instead of ARR / MRR - Heavy use of discounting, but this is getting better - Commissions are tracked manually and you do have to review for possible mistakes - Not necessarily a con, but if you aren't ready to pick up the phone and make calls, this is not the job for you.
