Pros
It's a job, I guess.
Cons
The base pay is horrible, the commission structure doesn't look bad, but it's always changing and is not all that great. Everyone is overworked for no money. Everyone is constantly stressed out. Everyone in leadership doesn't care unless your kissing up to them, and even then they don't care as much as they should. In the area we're in, we have the crappiest store in the market and they won't even fix the lighting that's been broken for a year. I'm happy to be moving to a new job soon that actually provides decent benefits, and hopefully appreciates hard work more. I've had to do assistant manager duties for associate pay, because we don't have a store manager, and they don't seem to be in a rush to hire one, though we've been without one for 5 months. It's ridiculous. And, on top of all of this, the traffic in the store is slow since it's in such a bad location. Which makes commission horrible, and since the base pay is the worst I've ever been paid in my adult years, I literally cannot afford to eat as I type this. I am ecstatic to be moving to a different company. It's been almost a year of wasting time here, for me.
