Pros

- Team members are technically strong and experienced. - Interns get exposure to production-level systems and real engineering workflows. - Lunch is provided.

Cons

- Internship expectations are often comparable to experienced SDE roles despite intern-level compensation. - Work-life balance is extremely poor, with long working hours and constant availability implicitly expected. - Management expectations and timelines can feel unrealistic for internship roles. - Interns are expected to deliver at the pace of full-time engineers without receiving the same level of support, resources, or tooling. - Important productivity tools available to the broader engineering team are not always accessible to interns, despite similar delivery expectations. - Performance evaluation processes lack transparency and can feel abrupt and high pressure. - Short-duration PIPs for interns create an atmosphere of uncertainty instead of learning and structured improvement. - Mentorship and structured guidance for interns are limited. - Mandatory 5-day work from office combined with the Koramangala location results in exhausting daily commutes due to traffic and limited connectivity, significantly impacting time and energy. - Overall culture is more focused on output and pressure than intern learning and development.

Pros

There is no pros in HyperFace

Cons

HyperFace doesn't have any work life balance, they will expect you to work overtime, several times at night and over the weekend. A leave is seen as "no dedication to work", and even after working 24 hrs a day you will be labelled as "indiciplined", "lack of quality in work" and probably be fired once enough work has been squeezed out of you, this will all happen during internship period where they will pay less than the amount of work they give you to do, how much ever work you do, you will be criticised and demotivated that it is not enough and be fired shortly.
