Pros
- great work-life balance - healthy working environment and friendly colleagues - great chances to build international career
Cons
- all decisions are made in HQ in Lichtenstein. All you can do on a country level is just implement global initiatives without questioning or challenging global decisions. Also even small and insignificant changes can take ridiculous amount of time to approve and implement. You can keep all your great ideas to yourself, nobody will bother to do anything unless they get directions from HQ. - Hilti doesn't acknowledge its mistakes and failures. You can only say how great everything is. -> lots of outdated and redundant processes and inefficiency. - Top-management is absolutely detached from reality. - Lack of ambitious and bright people. 95% of employees go to work to get their salary and be home by 5:30pm. If you strive to learn, create and innovate, this is not a right place for you. - It's a cult. You can't complain, say anything negative, even if you objectively mention some imperfections and inefficiencies. You might the most talented specialist in the whole world, but if you ever say anything negative, like "I don't think this will work, maybe we should reconsider this and that" your career is over.
