Pros
It is nice to get to work with the latest fashions on a smaller scale. You will learn a great deal about fashion, designers, and the ways that different looks are achieved. I really like that we do not currently push a credit card.
Cons
1. The employee discount is laughable. 2. It seems as though the corporate solution to shrinkage focuses too heavily on its employees, and not enough on the customers who are shoplifting. 3. The store attracts a very broad age-range of customers, some of which can be incredibly difficult to deal with. 4. Although artistic and creative, the merchandising style of the store is very difficult to work with. 5. There is no apparent rhyme or reason to the way they determine markdowns, making merchandising that much more difficult. 6. The on-the-job training is lacking, and many employees of all positions do not seem to know company policies or expectations.
