Pros
Great colleagues. A self-selecting group of high performers who genuinely care about social impact. Fairly transparent culture. When things aren't going well (including work-life balance challenges, DEIB challenges), feedback is sent upward with little fear of reprisal. Strong feedback culture and focus on ad hoc professional development.
Cons
Work-life balance can be a challenge, depending on the clients and projects. Not as bad as bigger commercial consultancies, but still not great. Company is growing quickly and systems/central staff capacity aren't always keeping up, but leadership is aware and working on it. Onboarding not as structured/supportive on building hard skills as with larger consulting firms, particularly for people without strong consulting backgrounds.
