Pros

I like the positive work environment where people work together to be successful. It's a small company so you don't have to go through multiple layers to get questions answered or help with benefits taken care of. The 401k match is good too. The software development team I'm in has a very good manager and we have clear goals to work toward even when changes have to be made to adapt to customer needs. The company produces an integrated system so in engineering there is opportunity to work with multiple client and server technologies both current and some older ones. When I was a new to employee a few years ago, the longer term employees were very helpful with getting to know the company and learning about the various products and systems.

Cons

The long history of CliniComp for a technology company is a source of strength but it also means sometimes older technology has to be accommodated in new designs.

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Had a lot of autonomy and space to work on projects.

Cons

As mentioned in headline, there are a couple guys who hold too much unofficial power and can really derail your efforts if you get on their bad side or if they feel threatened by your success. Current employees will know who I am talking about.
