Pros

Some of the kids are nice

Cons

Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials from HMH publisher Awful powerpoint structure and crappy materials that are too repetitive Micromanagers and controlling Powerpoints at times are too short for 1 hour classes and you are expected to supplement with more materials but only get paid $15 per class and get no extra pay for time to lesson plan Expected to do full time teacher work for fast food pay $15 per class no matter how many kids are in the classroom. No extra pay per kid. They don't let you teach how you want to. They micromanage. They want you to be boring but act a clown to entertain. No 3rd party websites can be used to teach with. They turn their nose up like snobs at it. Even though schools all over use them. This company is narcissistic so expect your morale to drop. You have to compete with other teachers to get classes when emails go out first come first serve on who gets the classes. They don't assign anything to you. I didn't get classes for the first 3 weeks because I didn't respond in the first 3 minutes after receiving the email. They criticize you but can't take criticism back. They take parents word as gospel but not yours. If there's a complaint about anything and it's exaggerated they believe the parent over you. Be prepared to be on the defense. Your star rating means nothing. I had 4.6 out of 5 stars. I had several kids sign up for multiple of my classes just to be with me. No benefits at all. They lie about being high quality learning company but they aren't. All about the money for the big wigs in charge. They basically created a company that will make the most money with the least amount of work possible. It's a scam. Look out
