fellow staff were deeply emotionally invested in the work and truly support the mission of the organization

leadership was suffering from founder's syndrome; possibly illegal pay rates (paid once per month) which forced staff to struggle financially; no bonuses and/or pay increases were below the COL increase for the region. Poor benefits and overall staff support leading to high staff turnover; in my short time there we cycled through turnover in every single educator role, sometimes multiple times per year for the same role. Senior management reacted punitively to disability disclosure.
