Often working longer than should without any compensation or when asked about going home early, management says next week, ask them next week they will ask you "didnt you take it last week" Lots of yelling over anything, very negative atmosphere

Pros

I personally enjoyed my 2 years at Circdata, working within a great team of people as well as a lot of lessons learnt. I have been able to take away a lot of transferable skills from Circdata. Salary reviews do happen if they are deserved i.e. if you put a bit extra work in. (to a good standard) In the AM and operations teams you have the option of working abroad such as Europe, US & Asia as well as across the UK. (It may sound glamorous but there isn’t much time spent sightseeing!) There is good teamwork within the account management team and within the company as a whole ensuring the events go smoothly as possible. This is something that makes the job easier and more enjoyable.

Cons

- a lot of working hours which will mean sometimes working at weekends and into your evening but that’s expected working in events. If you don’t want to put the hours in, this isn’t the role for you. - the workload can get intense during peak season, for example running a live event whilst ensuring the products and event preparation are delivered on time for the following week.
