Pros
You only have to communicate with one person 1-5 times a day depending on your performance. The rest of the time you are facilitating communication between the client and doc. The policies are very strict but you have plenty of time to learn what not to do before termination ever becomes a possibility. As a bonus, there are extra hours available during major holidays, after 6pm you get paid an extra $0.5 and on weekends you get paid an extra $0.75.
Cons
A lot of your performance is in the hands of a speech to text program that is not perfect. You can have 5 errors and 5 corrections and maintain a satisfactory performance and only communicate with your supervisor once a day. If you miss a correction, which is easy to do especially in hard calls with bad sound quality or super fast talkers, then you will have to talk to your supervisor twice a day. Miss even more corrections or have to make more corrections and you could end up taking to the supervisor 5 times a day. I don't like it. On days when you are sick the voice recognition can be completely messed up on every single word.
